Admission Process

The CAO admissions process to any of our osteopathy programs is an easy three steps.


1. Get in touch

Contact us by email or phone and we will help you get started with details on the program, admissions and our next open visit day. We’ll ensure you understand what the program is all about and answer any questions you may have at that time. We can discuss what makes The Canadian Academy of Osteopathy so unique, the minimum educational standards required for insurance coverage, and any other concerns you may have.


2. Make an appointment to visit our campus, sit in on a class and attend an informal group info session.

We require all potential applicants to attend one of our open visit days. If you attend, you will get to sit in on actual classes and test drive the program for yourself. You will also participate in an information seminar that covers all the details about the program and the profession. This is an informal way to see if the CAO is right for you, and there is no obligation to apply.


3. Complete the Application Form

Once you’ve visited the college and attended a group info session, if you have decided that The Canadian Academy of Osteopathy is the place of study for you, the last step is to complete our standard application form and participate in a brief and informal 15 minute interview to ensure that you are what we look for in a student.
